coin magic contest

I got a mystery package in the the mail today. I wasn’t expecting anything magic-related and when I opened it, an unreleased copy of Metal by Eric Jones was there. I smiled, wide.

There was a nice letter inside the package too, and after some reading here and there I found out about the 1929 Walking Liberty half dollars contest. I’m thinking about giving this one away and placing an order just to get a chance on those sweet pieces of silver…

Here are the contest rules:

Be one of the first 100 Metal DVD orders and have a ONE IN TWENTY CHANCE at owning and practicing with most unique and authentic coins preferred by respected professionals.

free silver half dollars

Metal is launching the 1st of November so be there before anyone else and you’ll get one of the sets.

You can read more about it at TRICKS WITH COINS.

Here are some pics of the cover, which by the way is awesome:

Ponta the Smith is back!

sick ponta the smith

Sick is back in stock at Ellusionist so while you wait for my review (I ordered it on launch day) which should arrive soon you can take a look at the amazing trailer that the japanese producers, and magic shop, French Drop put together.

It caught my eye to the point I’ve barely touched my cards the last week. This guy is smooth with coins and his visual magic is the kind that I like.

You can check the full performances of the tricks go to frenchdroptube‘s channel.

The DVD was sold out within a week and now they are back, if you can’t wait for my word on the contents I’d say go for it, you never know when is it going to be sold out again.

Remember to use the coupon code ELL313 to get a 5% off your entire order at Ellusionist. If you need help using it check out our first screencast on how to get some extra decks for free.
